Wellness Home

To be the best we can be, we must bring it all together to:

  • reduce pollution from air and water
  • improve our nutrition — with whole food (not chemical) supplements
  • increase our exercise
  • improve our sleep

Why do most alternative health options fail?

Most fail because they do not offer support in all four areas. Any option will (eventually) fail if it requires us to change our lifestyles.

We need support in ALL four areas, and because we are busy people, the solution must be easy and fit into our lives.

Drinking a juice or taking a nutritional supplement is not adequate.

Fitting a water filter is good but will do little if we still breath polluted air in our homes and suffer malnutrition.

Being half-hearted is no good. Eating a salad every Thursday is not going to correct the abuse we have given our bodies over our lifetime.

Our health and wellness is not a negotiation with our bodies—it is a commitment.

We are committed or we are not committed.

We choose health or we do not.

The solution is simple.

We must create a Wellness Homes.

The concept of the Wellness Home is simple: If we live in a healthy environment our health will improve.

We do not have total control over our environment, but we can control what happens in our homes. And because we spend more than half of our lives there, we get the maximum benefit from the changes we make.

Therefore, our home is the obvious place to start. Hence “The Wellness Home.”

Since my wife and I built our Wellness Home, we both have more energy and I have lost more than 50 pounds in weight.

In addition, we don’t need allergy medications, have cut right back on our pain medications, and each time I have surgery, I heal quicker and recover faster.

This doesn’t mean we give up chicken fried steak and fries — but it does mean we don’t eat them every day.
